Shipping Policy

1. Overview

We ship across India through trusted logistics partners. By placing an order, you agree to the terms in this Shipping Policy.

2. Order Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays are processed the next working day.

Business days: Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

3. Estimated Delivery Time

  • Metro Cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune): 2–5 business days
  • Other Locations (Tier 2 / Tier 3 cities, remote areas): 4–7 business days                                        

These are estimates only. Delays due to weather, logistics disruptions, or government restrictions are beyond our control and Mewa Mitra shall not be liable for them.

4. Shipping Charges

  • Free shipping on orders of Rs. 799 and above
  • Flat charge of Rs.59 on orders below Rs. 799
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable except where the error is solely on our part

5. Shipping Coverage

We ship to all serviceable PIN codes across India. International shipping is not available. If your PIN code is unserviceable, you will be notified at checkout.

6. Address Responsibility

The customer is solely responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address, recipient name, and mobile number.

Wrong Address = No Liability on Mewa Mitra

–   We are not responsible for failed, delayed, or misdelivered shipments due to incorrect or incomplete address details.

–   Re-delivery charges arising from address errors are borne entirely by the customer.

7. Delivery Acceptance

Once our logistics partner marks an order as delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer. Claims for damage or shortage must be raised within 32 hours with photographic or video evidence. Claims without proof may be rejected.

8. Temperature & Storage

We are not responsible for deterioration in product quality due to improper storage after delivery — including exposure to heat, moisture, direct sunlight, or humidity. Store all dry fruits in airtight containers in a cool, dry place.

9. Order Tracking

A tracking number and logistics partner name will be sent via SMS/email after dispatch. Track via the link provided or the My Orders section in your account. If no tracking information is received within 3 business days, contact info@mewamitra.com.

10. Packaging

Products are packed in food-grade, airtight, moisture-resistant packaging. Gift hampers are additionally secured with bubble wrap. All packages are sealed with tamper-evident stickers. We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video upon receipt.

11. Failed Delivery & RTO

Our logistics partner will attempt delivery up to 3 times. If all attempts fail, the package is returned to us. In such cases:

  • Outward shipping charges will be deducted from any refund
  • Re-delivery is available at an additional charge
  • If no re-delivery is requested within 7 days, a partial refund (excluding shipping) will be processed
  • Repeated RTO events may result in COD restriction

12. Lost or Delayed Shipments

If tracking shows no movement for more than 10 business days after dispatch, contact info@mewamitra.com with your Order ID. Claims for lost shipments must be raised within 15 days of the expected delivery date.

13. Force Majeure

Mewa Mitra shall not be responsible for delays caused by natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, courier strikes, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
